Florida Trade Specialists is a Florida-based platform built to connect homeowners, property owners, and businesses with licensed and insured trade professionals across Florida. We are not an open directory, and we are not a marketplace where anyone can pay to be listed. We operate under one non-negotiable rule:
Every trade professional on our platform must be properly licensed and insured in the state of Florida.
Who We Are
We are a verification-first network created to protect property owners and elevate legitimate trade professionals.
Unlike Angi, Yelp, Google, and similar platforms, we do not allow self-reported credentials. If a contractor cannot meet Florida’s licensing and insurance requirements, they are not listed.
What Makes Us Different
Finding a qualified contractor shouldn’t feel like a gamble. Unfortunately, on platforms like Angi, Yelp, and Google, there is no verification requirement for licensing or insurance. That means unlicensed individuals can advertise alongside legitimate professionals putting property owners at risk.
Florida Trade Specialists was created to eliminate that risk by offering a verified network of licensed Florida contractors across multiple trades.
Every professional listed on our platform:
- Holds a valid Florida state or local license
- Carries active insurance
- Meets our professional standards for quality and accountability
if a contractor is not licensed and insured in Florida, they are not listed on Florida Trade Specialists
